Želubovskis reaches 600 career points in the Latvian championship

HK “MOGO/RSU” forward Elvis Želubovskis reached the milestone of 600 career points in the Latvian Championship on Saturday, 19 September, during an Optibet Hockey League (OHL) Baltic Hockey Championship game.

“MOGO/RSU” defeated Kyiv “Capitals” 9:2 on Saturday, with Želubovskis contributing three assists. As a result, he has now reached 600 points in the Latvian Championship.

Želubovskis has played 513 games in the Latvian Championship, scoring 279 goals and recording 321 assists. The experienced forward is the all-time leading scorer in the history of the Latvian Championship.

At the end of the previous season, Želubovskis became the all-time leading scorer in the Latvian Championship. In February 2026, he was just two points away from the record of Aigars Razgals, who had previously accumulated 594 points.

Želubovskis broke the record in the spring of 2026 and continued to add to his points tally at the beginning of the new season.
