Children and Youth Hockey Championship – “Maxima Super Cup” has ended

The Latvian Children and Youth Hockey Championship season has ended with a solemn award ceremony and satisfaction for the achievements, in which a record number of young athletes competed for the “Maxima Super Cup”. This season, more than 2,700 children and young people took to the ice, representing 157 teams from different regions of Latvia: Riga, Mārupe, Daugavpils, Liepāja, Ogre, Brocēni, Jelgava, Ozolnieki, Jūrmala, Talsi, Tukums, Ventspils, Rēzekne, Jēkabpils and Valmiera. In the U12, U13, U15 and U18 groups, the champion title was won by “Rīgas Hokeja Skola”, while in the U16 group, the victory was celebrated by “HK Prizma”.

During the event, the strongest teams of the Latvian Children and Youth Hockey Championship 2025/2026 season in 10 age groups were honored. Medals and champion titles were won by hockey players from the U12, U13, U15, U16 and U18 age groups, while athletes from the U8, U9, U10, U11, U14 and U17 groups also competed in the “Maxima Super Cup” with great enthusiasm and fighting spirit throughout the season.

A total of 1696 games were played last season, which required maximum dedication, high skill and team spirit from the young players throughout the season. The teams that achieved the best results in their age groups were honored for particularly outstanding achievements. groups. In the U12, U13, U15 and U18 groups, the champion title was won by “Rīgas Hokeja Skola”, while in the U16 group, “HK Prizma” celebrated victory.
